５月２９日 明日３０日に帰国します。

May 29:  I will return to Japan tomorrow, 30th.
 

今日はとっても暑かったです！
陽はかんかん照りで、日中は気温は３５度くらいはあったと思います。

It was a very hot day. 
It was a blazing hot day and the temperature was about 35 degrees.


午後、シマリス絵本館の事務所で、展示した絵の梱包をしました。
梱包した絵は、明日、私が一緒に飛行機に乗せて持って帰ってきます。

In the afternoon, I packed paintings displayed at the exhibition in the office of Chipmunk’s Book Store.
I will bring back the packed paintings tomorrow.


シマリス絵本館に向かう前に、ちょっと時間があったので
散歩をしました。
木々が、南の国の木です。

As I had a bit of free time before visiting Chipmunk’s Book Store, I took a walk.
Trees were tropical plants.

ここは、台湾の青山のようなところです。

It’s like Taiwan’s Aoyama.

途中で、かわいい時計のあるお店を発見。
ジェラート屋さんでした。

On the way, I found a shop which had a pretty clock.
It was a gelato shop.

暑かったので、食べてみることにしました。
ウォールナッツのジェラートにしました。
イタリアのジェラートに負けず、美味しかったです！

As it was a hot day, I tried the walnut gelato.
It tasted as good as Italian gelato.

シマリス絵本館に向かいました。
事務所に行き、絵の梱包をしました。
・・梱包に夢中になり、作業写真を撮るのを忘れてしまいました・・。
シマリスのスタッフの女の子３人と私の４人で作業をしました。
みなさん、どうもありがとうございました。

I visited Chipmunk’s Book Store and packed paintings in the office.
…… I forgot to take photos of packing because I was concentrating to pack ……
Three female staffs in Chipmunk’s Book Store helped me.
Thank you very much for your kind support.


その後、絵本館へ最後のご挨拶に伺いました。
みなさん、本当に素敵な笑顔の人ばかりです。

After that, I visited the book store to say good-bye.
All of them were persons with great smile.


一人づつと、記念写真を撮ったあと、
シマリススタッフの一人、リコさんが、ウクレレを弾いて歌を歌ってくれました。
リコさんは、展示会場の「想いの木」の絵を描いてくれた人です。
絵本作家になりたいそうです。
絵をいろいろ見せていただきましたが、とっても温かい絵を描かれます。
私はとても好きでした。

After I took commemorative shot with each staff, Riko-san, one of the staff in Chipmunk’s Book Store, played a ukulele and sang a song.
She drew a tree of hope in the exhibition space.
She wanted to become a picture book artist.
She showed me her paintings and I found that she drew heartwarming paintings.
I loved them.

そして、プレゼントもいただきました。
リコさんが作った「星の王子さま」。うさぎと手をつないでいます。
１枚の紙を切り抜いて作ったそうです。
こういう気持ちのこもったプレゼントは、とってもうれしいです。
リコさん、本当にありがとう！

And I got a gift from her.
It was “The Little Prince” made by Riko-san.  The prince held the hand with a rabbit.
She cut out a piece of paper.
I was very happy to get such heartfelt gift.
Riko-san, thank you very much!

シマリス絵本館のみなさんと、「再会！」とお別れし、
林さんと一緒に、最後にお食事をしました。
（また、ご馳走になってしまいました・・）

I said zai jian (good-bye) to staffs in Chipmunk’s Book Store and went to dinner with Hayashi-san (he treated again…)


ベジタリアン（台湾では「素食」といいます）の懐石料理のお店です。
あまりに、きれいで美味しかったので、アップしました。
はじめのお料理。
一番手前のレンゲに入った、トマトの料理を食べて、
左まわりに食べます。

It was a vegetarian (called sushi in Taiwan) restaurant.
As it was very beautiful and delicious, I posted photos.
The first dish.
We should eat a small tomato in the nearest china spoon and then eat them in a counterclockwise direction.

これは椎茸のようなきのこで作ったハンバーグのようなもの。

It was like a hamburger made from something like Chinese mushroom.

これは、お酢です。氷の上に器があります。

Vinegar on the ice.

この後、スープがあったのですが、写真撮り忘れ・・。
薬膳のスープでした。

We had a soup containing Chinese herbs after that, but I forgot to take a photo.


そして最後にデザート。
左が抹茶のムース。甘すぎず美味しかったです。
フルーツは、台湾は最高です。
何を食べても、甘くて美味しいです。
これからの季節、もっとたくさん、美味しい果物が出てくるそうです。
今度は、果物がいっぱいある季節に来てみたいです。

Desserts.
Green tea mousse (left).  It was not too sweet and delicious.
Fruits in Taiwan were very delicious.
Everything tasted sweet and good.
I heard more delicious fruits will be delivered soon.
I would visit here again during the season of many fruits.

お腹がいっぱいになり、ホテルへ戻りました。

I was full and I returned to the hotel.


林さん、本当に今回は、何から何まで、ありがとうございました。
美味しいものもたくさんご馳走になってしまいました。


このご恩は一生忘れません。
そして、このご縁は、一生大切にしていきたいと思います。

Hayashi-san, thank you so much for everything.
He treated me to excellent meals.

I will never forget his kindness.
And I want to value this friendship forever.
