フジコ・ヘミングさんにお会いしてきました。

I met Ms. Fujiko Hemming


今日は、池袋の芸術劇場で、フジコ・ヘミングさんの
ピアノソロコンサートがありました。
フジコ・ヘミングさんも、「震災で消えた小さな命展２」の
参加作家さんのお一人です。

Today, the piano solo concert by Ms. Fujiko Hemming was held at Tokyo Metropolitan Theater in Ikebukuro.
Ms. Fujiko Hemming was one of the participating artist of the exhibition “Precious Little Lives Lost in the Earthquake Part 2”.

フジコさんは、すばらしいピアニストとして、世界中に知られていますが、
ピアノ以外に、絵も描かれています。
私は以前から、フジコさんのピアノの大ファンですが、
ピアノだけではなく、フジコさんの生き方や考え方がすばらしくて、
私はフジコさんが大好きになりました。
フジコさんは、動物に対する思いがとてもある方です。
日本のお家、フランスのお家にも、たくさんの捨て猫を
大切な家族として迎えられています。
今回、フジコさんには、「人も動物もみんな同じ命」がテーマの絵を
描いていただいています。

Fujiko-san was well known as a fantastic pianist in the world and she also draw paintings.
I had been a fan of her piano, and I liked her very much when I knew her great way of life and thought.
Fujiko-san has great sympathy for animals.
She has many abandoned cats at her houses in both Japan and France.
She drew a painting as the theme of “Equality of Life of Human and Animals” for the exhibition.

コンサートの後、フジコさんにお会いできました。
フジコさんは普段、フランスに住んでいらっしゃいますので、
展覧会にはなかなかいらっしゃることは難しいでしょうから、
楽屋にお邪魔し、展覧会のご報告をさせていただきました。
そして、震災のお話や、動物たちのお話しをしました。
それぞれの思いで、こうして小さな命展に参加してくださることを
本当にうれしく思いました。
来年、是非どこかの会場にいらしてくださいとお伝えしました。

After the concert, I could meet Fujiko-san.
As she is living in France and it was hard to visit the exhibition, I visited her dressing room to report about the exhibition.
Then I told her the disaster and animals.
I was very much glad that many artists participated in the exhibition with their own thoughts.
I asked her to visit the exhibition somewhere in the next year.

帰るとき、フジコさんからたくさんお菓子をいただきました。
うれしかったです。

When I left, Fujiko-san gave me many sweets.
I was very happy.
