11月20日・21日絵本美術館「森のおうち」搬入その①

November 20 & 21, 2012:  Installation at Picture Book Art Museum MORINOOUCHI 1


11月20日・21日の2日間、長野県安曇野市にあります
絵本美術館「森のおうち」の搬入・展示作業をしてきました。

Installation at Picture Book Art Museum MORINOOUCHI in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture was done on both November 20 & 21.

最寄の駅は「穂高駅」
森のおうちの方が、駅までお迎えにきてくださいました。
お忙しい中、どうもありがとうございました。

The nearest station was Hotaka Station.
A staff of MORINOOUCHI picked me up.
Thank you for the kindness during your busy schedule.

20日はお天気が良くて、アルプスの山々がとてもきれいに見えました！
このまま、山に行きたい気持ちを抑え・・森のおうちに。

It was a fine day on 20th so I could see the beautiful Japan Alps.
I put aside my willingness to climb the mountain and I visited MORINOOUCHI.

穂高駅から車で10分くらいでしょうｙか・・・
森の中に・・ありました！

It took about 10 minutes by car from Hotaka Station to there …
In the forest … here it was!

この先に「森のおうち」があります。

There was MORINOOUCHI further down from here.

暖かい感じの素敵な建物です。
本当に素敵です！

The building looked warm and nice.
It was really nice.

中に入ると、正面に、２階ギャラリーに続く階段。
「震災で消えた小さな命展２」は２階の３部屋に展示されます。

Stepping inside, I immediately found stairways that lead to the gallery on upstairs.
The exhibition of “Precious Little Lives Lost in the Earthquake Part 2” will be held in 3 rooms on upstairs.

１階には、かわいい雑貨コーナー

There was a space for cute sundries downstairs.

そして、素敵なレストラン
それと、写真が撮れなかったのですが、「小さいおうち」という
絵本屋さんが入っています。

Also, a nice restaurant.
And there was a picture book store called CHIISAIOUCHI.  I could not take a photo of it.

２０日は展示変えの日で、まずは前に展示してある作品を外す作業から
始まりました。
その後で、小さな命展の作業に入ります。

On 20th, it was the day to change articles on display so that we started from taking paintings off.
Then we started installation of our exhibition.

西尾市から運ばれてきた絵の入ったダンボールを
３つの部屋に分けていきます。

We allocated boxes delivered from Nishio City to 3 rooms.

３つの部屋の、展示順を決め、並べていきます。

The order of display was determined and we put paintings in its order in each 3 room.

今日の作業はここまで。
もう、すっかり暗くなりました・・。
続きはまた明日。

That’ it for today.
It was quite dark already …
Installation was to be continued tomorrow.

森のおうちのみなさんと、素敵なレストランで、
美味しいお弁当をいただきました。

I had a delicious box meal with staffs of MORINOOUCHI at the nice restaurant.

そして・・私はコテージに泊まります。
「森のおうち」には、こんな素敵なコテージがあるんです。

And … I stayed over the cottage.
There was such a nice cottage in MORINOOUCHI.

この日は私一人でした。
森の中に、たった一人・・とても静かで、真っ暗で、嬉しかったです。
こっそりと、小さな生き物が訪ねてきてくれないかな・・
そんなことを思って、眠りました。

On that day, I was only one person to stay over there.
I was alone in the forest … it was very calm and dark and I was very happy.
Small animals might secretly visit me …
I hoped such thing and fell asleep.
