October 25 & 26, 2012: Installation in Nishio
10月25日・26日の2日間かけて、愛知県西尾市一色町にあります
「一色まなびの館」にて搬入作業をしてきました。
ここでは、会場は2箇所にわかれます。
The installation was held at Isshiki Manabi No Yakata in Isshiki Town, Nishio City, Aichi Prefecture on October 25 and 26.
The exhibition will be held in two separate sites.
～25日（木）～
午前中は、私は鶴城小学校に行き、「命の大切さ・命の平等」という
テーマで、2時間目の授業に低学年350名、3時間目の授業に高学年350名、
あわせて約700名の子供たち、そして、先生にお話をさせていただきました。
こんなにたくさんの子供たちの前でお話をさせていただいたのは初めてです。
震災で、人や動物たち・・様々な命に起きた悲しい出来事、そしてその原因、
これからのこと、大人でも、子供でも、一人一人ができること・・
そんな私が大切だと思うことを、お話させていただきました。
みんな、真剣に聞いてくれました。
大切なことを、子供たちや、先生たちにお話させていただける
時間をいただけて本当に感謝しています。
私にとっても、本当に大切な、貴重な時間になりました。
On 25th:
I went to Kakujo Elementary School to give a lecture regarding “Importance and Equality of Lives” to 350 younger students in second period and 350 senior students in third period.
It was the first time to give a lecture to so many kids.
I told them about human being and animals in earthquake, sad accidents for various lives, and the reasons, the future, things which we – children and adults - can do.
All of them seriously listened it.
I was happy to get a time to tell the important things to kids and teachers.
It was a very precious and important time for me.

午後、お昼ごはんを食べた後、
第2会場の「一色町公民館」別館ギャラリー」にて搬入作業を開始しました。
After the lunch, we started for installation at the 2nd site of Annex Gallery in Isshiki Town Community Center.

真っ白い壁・・かわいい空間です The site was pretty with white walls.
たまたま、職業体験に来ていた中学生の男の子たちも
手伝ってくれました！
テキパキと動いてくれて、頼もしかったです。
どうも、ありがとう！
Junior high school boys who came there for the experience of the world of work helped me, too.
They worked speedily and I felt dependable.
Thank you so much!
暗くなり、この日は作業終了。
また、続きは明日です。
It was getting dark and the installation for today was completed.
We will work for it tomorrow.
～26日（金）～
朝から9：00から、展示作業開始です。
この日は、各地でお世話になっている名古屋のボランティアのIさんがお手伝いに
来てくださいました。
おかげで、午後には第2会場はだいたい展示が終わりました。
On 26th:
Installation was started at 9AM.
On that day, I-san, a volunteer from Nagoya, came to help me. She had been helping me in various sites.
With her support, installation at the 2nd site was almost completed in the afternoon.
今度は、第一会場、「一色まなびの館」特別展示室の展示開始です。
こちらの会場には、「人も動物も同じ命」命の平等の絵が展示されます。
Then, installation at the 1st site, Special Exhibition Room in Isshiki Manabi No Yakata, was started.
In this site, paintings for the equality of lives as “Both humans and animals have the same life” were displayed.

第一会場の展示終了。
終わったのは午後6時過ぎ・・。
Installation at the 1st site was completed.
It was after 6PM …
外はもう、真っ暗でした。
第2会場の方の様子を見に行きました。
It was dark out.
I went to check the 2nd site.
その時、浜田桂子さんがいらっしゃいました！
浜田さんは、翌日27日（土）に西尾市図書館で講演会があるため、
いらっしゃったそうです。
お会いできて嬉しかったです。
At that time, Ms. Keiko Hamada came there.
She arrived for a lecture meeting at Nishio City Library tomorrow, Saturday, 27th.
It was nice meeting her.

2日間・・搬入の人数も少なくて、ちょっと大変でしたが、無事展示終了しました。

Although we had a few people for installation on both two days, installation was safely completed.

＝ここからは、ボランティアスタッフIさんのご報告です＝
From now, I-san, volunteer staff, gives us a report.
今日は、「震災で消えた小さな命展２」の搬入と展示作業を
お手伝いさせていただきました。
Today, I helped installation for the exhibition of “Precious Little Lives Lost in the Earthquake Part 2”.
「一色まなびの館」特別展示室が第一会場で、
「一色町公民館」別館ギャラリーが第二会場と、
二会場に分かれての展示です。
There were two sites for the exhibition, the 1st site was Special Exhibition Room in Isshiki Manabi No Yakata and the 2nd site was Annex Gallery of Isshiki Community Center.
「人も動物もみんな同じ命」というテーマで描かれた作品が展示された第一会場。
The 1st site where paintings with the theme of “Equality of Life of Human and Animals” were displayed.
震災で喪（うしな）われた動物たちを個別に描いた作品が展示された第二会場。
The 2nd site where paintings of each lost pet in the earthquake.
