September 30, Delivery of Painting and Went Home

９月３０日。
石巻から私の住んでいる千葉に帰ります。

命展では、飼い主さんが会場に絵になった子をお迎えに来ていただいていますが、
中にはどうしてもご都合が悪くて、お迎えに来られない方もいらっしゃいます。
飼い主さんも早く絵の子に会いたいでしょうし、
せっかく動物たちの故郷近くまできているのに、私の住む千葉にまた連れてきて
しまうのは、かわいそうかな・・と思いました。
ですので、飼い主さんたちと連絡を取り、ご自宅までお届けすることにしました。

On September 30, I went home at Chiba from Ishinomaki.

As an activity of the exhibition, I asked pet owners to pick up their pets in paintings at the site, however, some of them were unable to pick them up by some reasons.

I believe pet owners would like to see their pets in paintings as soon as possible and I felt sorry to bring them back to Chiba, my hometown, even pets in paintings were staying near their hometown.

So, I contacted pet owners and delivered paintings at home


午前中、時間があったので、女川の方を周って帰ることにしました。

I had a time in the morning, I went home by visiting Onagawa.

まだ、山に向かう道路が津波により壊れたままになっていました。

The road to the mountain was still destroyed by Tsunami.

女川も１年前に行った時よりも、港付近の工事が進んでいました。

Construction of harbor area of Onagawa was progressed since one year ago.

でも、町があったところは、津波により流されてそのままになっている建物が
たくさんありました。

However, there were many destroyed buildings by Tsunami where a town existed.

飼い主さんとのお約束の時間が近づいたので、仙台に向かいました。

As the time was closing on the appointments with pet owners, I moved to Sendai.

仙台市内、名取市の飼い主さんのお宅、数件にお届けに行きました。
住所を調べて歩きました。

I visited some pet owners in Sendai and Natori to deliver the paintings.

I looked for the address.

箱から絵を出して、チャイムを鳴らします。
会場にお迎えに来ていただくのも嬉しいですが、
こうして絵になった子たちを、飼い主さんが待つお家に送っていくことも、
何だか幸せな気持ちになりました。

I unboxed the painting and set off the chime.

I felt happy to see off pets in paintings to their homes where their pet owners were waiting as well as pet owners visited the site of exhibition to pick their pets up.

最後の子をお家まで送ったのが、１９：３０を過ぎていました。
それから、千葉の私の家まで、喜多さんに車で送っていただきました。

途中のドライブインで、ずんだソフトクリームでお疲れ様をしました。
ずんだソフトクリーム、美味しかったです。

When I finished seeing the last pet off, it was 19:30.

Ms. Kita gave me a ride to my home in Chiba.

We had a “wrap up meeting” at the drive-in with green soybean ice cream.

It was very delicious.

深夜１：３０、帰宅しました。

２３日の宮古から、絵の子たちを車に乗せて、私と一緒に、行動を

共にしてくれた喜多さん、本当に本当にありがとうございました。

絵を描いてくださった作家さんたち、命展のホームページをいつも

更新してくださっていた橋山さん、命展のために各地でお手伝いを

してくださった本当に多くのボランティアさんたち・・

何度お礼を言っても足りません。

本当に本当に本当に、ありがとうございました。

「震災で消えた小さな命展２」はこれで、終了です。

しかし、命展は終わりではありません。

パート１とパート２の絵を複製し展覧会をする命展、

そしてパート３・・へと続きます。

人も動物もみんな同じ大切な命だと思うことが

当たり前の世の中になるまで、

命に順番のない世の中になるまで、

私は伝え続けていきたいと思います。

そしてこのブログを読んでくださっているみなさん、

命展のことでもいいです、その他の信頼できる活動をされている方の

ことでもいいです、どうか伝えたいと思う人にみなさんから伝えてください。

誰にでもできることで一番大切なこと・・それは伝える事だと思います。

小さな一つ一つの行動が大きな大きな力となり、世の中を変えていけると

私は信じています。

I arrived at home at 1:30 AM.

Kita-san, thank you soooo much.  She was travelling with me from 23rd in Miyako with pets in paintings.

Artists who drew paintings, Hahiyama-san who regularly update the homepage, many volunteers to help me in each place of exhibition … I can’t thank you enough.

Thank you very, very much for all.

The exhibition of Precious Little Lives Lost in the Earthquake Part 2 has been finished today. 

However, the exhibition has not been finished.

The exhibition of reproduction paintings from Part 1 & 2, and Part 3 will be held.

I continue to give a message until the thought of equality of lives for human and animals will be natural, and until there is no order for lives.

９月２９日 石巻でのお渡し会

September 29: The Ceremony to Pick Up Pets in Paintings by Pet Owners in Ishinomaki

２９日、パート１、パート２でもお世話になった、
石巻のナリサワさんで、１０：００から絵のお渡し会がありました。

石巻の動物たちの絵を描いてくださった作家さんが５名
（かわかみ味智子さん、谷村あかねさん、たかぎなまこさん、
　中村太樹男さん、ナカムラユウコウさん）
何度もお手伝いしてくださったボランティアさんたちも最後の会場に
来てくださいました。
その他、巡回中いくつかの会場でお会いしました、
映画「犬と猫と人間と２」の宍戸監督も、飼い主さんの元に
帰っていく姿を撮影にいらっしゃいました。

The ceremony to pick up pets in paintings by pet owners was held at Narisawa Gallery in Ishinomaki where the exhibition Part 1 & 2 was held.

5 artists who drew pets in Ishinomaki (Ms. Michiko Kawakami, Ms. Akane Tanimura, Ms. Namako Takagi, Mr. Takio Nakamura, Mr. Yukou Nakamura) and volunteers who helped me many times joined at the final site of exhibition.
Mr. Shishido, the movie director of “Dogs, Cats, and Human Part 2” also joined to shoot the ceremony that pets went home with their pet owners.

お迎えの時間は１０：００から。
９：３０にみんなで準備しました。

Picking-up will start at 10AM, so we prepared for it from 9:30AM.

箱から絵の子を出していきます。

Pets in paintings were unboxed.

命展をパート１から応援してくださっている、ＮＨＫ京都のキャスター、
小野田真由美さんも、石巻にも取材をしに来てくださいました。
小野田さんは、宮古にもいらしてくださいました。

Ms. Mayumi Onoda, a newscaster of NHK Kyoto Branch and supported the exhibition since Part 1 came to Ishinomaki to report the ceremony.  She also came to Miyako.

１０：００になり、お迎えが始まりました。
作家さんが描いた子の飼い主さんへは、作家さんから渡していただきました。

At 10AM, the ceremony started.
The artist who drew the painting passed the painting to the pet owner.

始まりの時間と共に、たくさんの飼い主さんたちが、続々とお迎えに
いらっしゃいました。

Many pet owners came to pick their pets up when the ceremony started.

みんなお家に帰っていきます。
飼い主さんの中には、「このままいただいていってもいいですか？」と、
絵の子を抱っこしたまま、箱に入れないで帰っていかれる方も
たくさんいらっしゃいました。
飼い主さんに抱っこされたとたん、絵の中の子は
ホッとした笑顔に変わりました。

Each pet went home.
Many pet owners asked me “Can I go home like this?” and hugged the painting without a box.

命展最後の会場、石巻にいらしてくださったみなさんです。

When pet owners hugged the paintings, the expressions of those pets in paintings changed into a peaceful smile.

お渡し会は１６：００で終わりました。

作家さんたちも帰っていかれました。
始めに、中村太樹男さん、ナカムラユウコウさん兄弟が帰られました。
（写真、撮り忘れてしまいました・・）
次に、かわかみ味智子さん、谷村あかねさん。
本当にどうもありがとうございました。

The ceremony finished at 16:00.
Artists left here.

そして、たくさんの会場にお手伝いに来てくださった、仙台の森田さん。

その後、たかぎなまこさんも帰っていかれました。
たかぎさんは、宮古にも来てくださいました。
本当に本当に、みなさんありがとうございました。

９月２８日 石巻へ向かう

September 28:  Move to Ishinomake

ブログの更新が遅れてしまい、読んでくださっているみなさま、
すみません。

９月２８日は、大船渡より沿岸部を通って、石巻に向かいました。

まずは陸前高田市を通りました。

陸前高田市の様子です。
まだまだ、大変な状況です。

I’m sorry for the delay in updating the blog.

On September 28, I went to Ishinomaki from Ofunato along the coast.

I passed Rikuzentakata City first.

The situation is still terrible.

山が一つ、二つ、削られていました。
ここに新しく住宅が建つそうです。
そして削られた土が、災害公営住宅の盛り土に使われるそうです。

Two mountains were leveled.
New houses will be built there.
And the sand from those mountains will be utilized for foundation work of public housing for victims.

「奇跡の一本松」です。
車から降りて、近くまで行ってみました。

A Miracle Pine Tree.
I got out of a car and came closer.

震災前には、ここに７万本もの松があったそうです。
当時の写真がありました。
「奇跡の一本松」」と名前をつけて、この松から希望や力をもらった人が
たくさんいることと思いますが、
そんなにもたくさんの仲間たちが、いっぺんにみんないなくなってしまい、
この松はどれほど悲しく、寂しかったのだろうか・・と思いました。
一本松はその後枯れてしまい、現在は復元されたものが立っています。
今は仲間たちと一緒にいるのでしょうか・・。
松の根本に、コスモスが咲いていました。

Before the disaster, there were 70,000 pine trees.
I saw its photo.
The tree was named “Miracle Pine Tree” and many people were cheered up by the tree.
However, I wondered if the tree felt sad and lonely when such a many friends were lost at once.
The pine tree ran dry after that and the restored one is there at present
Is the pine tree staying with his friends …?
A cosmos was blooming at the base of pine tree.

 陸前高田を離れ、気仙沼方面に向かいました。

 途中、いくつも被災した小さな集落を通り過ぎました。

I left Rikuzentakata and moved to Kesennuma.

I passed some small villages suffered from disaster.

宮城県に入りました。

I entered Miyagi Prefecture.

気仙沼市です。
ここも、大きな被害を受けたことがわかりました。

It is Kesennuma City.
I noticed it was heavily damaged, too.

気仙沼には、国の天然記念物「九九鳴き浜」があります。
せっかくなので行ってみました。

There is Kukunaki-hama, natural treasure, in Kesennuma.
Taking this opportunity, I went there.

砂浜を足で何回か踏んだら、キュッキュッと砂が鳴きました。
昔はもっとたくさん鳴いたそうです。
鳴き砂は、砂浜が汚れてしまうと鳴かなくなってしまいます。

When I stepped on the sand several times, the sand was squeaking.
There was more squeaking sounds in the past.
The ‘singing sand’ does not sound when it is dirty.

九九鳴き浜を出たのはもう夕方。
石巻に到着したのは、１９：００でした。

この日は、２０：００にワンちゃんが１匹、お家に帰っていきました。

It was early evening when I left Kukunaki-hama.
I arrived in Ishinomaki at 19:00.

One dog in the painting went home at 20:00 today.
