August 27: The Third Day of the Exhibition at Huckleberry Books
朝からカンカン照りで暑くなりそうな月曜日。
そんな中でもぽつぽつと足を運んでくださる方が…。
Monday was blazing hot day from the morning.
But some visitors came to the site
二階の会場にはゴーヤのグリーンカーテンのすてきなテラスがあります。
見た目、涼しそうですが、外はやっぱり暑いので眺めて涼をとります。
There was a nice terrace upstairs with bitter gourd’s “green curtain”.
It looked cool but it was hot outside, so I stayed inside and just had a view of the curtain.
お昼頃、一枚の絵を熱心に見ているご夫婦がいらっしゃって、お話を伺うと
ご遺族の方でした。
絵をじっとみつめて、「本当にそっくり…」と泣いていました。
当時の話を色々お話してくださいました。本当に辛い体験です。
何も言えず、ただお話を聞くしかできませんでした。
あれから一年以上が過ぎてますが、まだまだ色んな事に長い時間が必要なんだな、
と感じました。
報道も少なくなり実際に被害の少ない場所の私たちは、つい毎日に追われて
見過ごしがちになりますが、まだ終わっていないということを忘れないように
したいです。
Around noon, a couple was heartily seeing one painting. I asked them and found that they were bereaved families.
They gazed the painting and cried, “It is perfect look-alike”.
They told me the story at the time of earthquake. It was very, very sad experience.
I could not say anything, I just heard the story.
More than one year has passed since then, but I felt it should take a long time for various things.
There are getting less news of disaster area and we, who are living in no damage area, seem to overlook that the damage is not over yet due to our busy daily life.
