3月26日岩手県大槌マスト会場：搬入日

March 26, 2015:  Installation at MAST in Otsuchi Town, Iwate

3月25日、夜行バスで池袋から出発し、26日８：００に岩手県釜石市に着きました。

到着のバス停は、釜石駅前の道路です。
今日は、参加作家のたかぎなまこさんも、搬入のお手伝いにきてくださるという
ことで、釜石駅前で待ち合わせをし、合流しました。

On March 25, I left Ikebukuro by an overnight bus and arrived at Kamaishi City, Iwate, at 8:00 on 26th.

The bus stop was located in front of Kamaishi Station.

As Ms. Namako Takagi who was a participating artist joined me to help installation today, we met at Kamaishi Station.

バスを降りたら、駅前の市場に「釜石ラーメン」の看板が！
釜石ラーメンはとても美味しいのです。

When I got off the bus, I saw the sign of “Kamaishi Ramen” at the market in front of the station!

Kamaishi Ramen is very delicious.

早速、ラーメン好きな、たかぎさんと、朝からラーメンを注文しました。

Ms. Takagi and I (both of us are Ramen Lovers) ordered the ramen since the morning.

お腹いっぱいになり、お店から出てきたら、こんなガチャガチャがありました。
『ごめん寝コ（ごめんねこ）」』
中をよく見たら、最後の1個 しか入っていませんでした。

When we left the shop with a full belly, we found a capsule toy machine.

“Gomen neko (apologizing cat)”

I looked over the machine and found that there was only one capsule left in the machine.

昨年末に、猫を家族に迎えてから、猫のものに反応するようになりました。
最後の1個・・もちろん200円を投入しました。

Since I had a cat at the end of last year, I have been curious about cat products.

The last one … I of course dropped 200 JPY into the machine.

出てきたのは、茶色い子猫が、ごめん、していました。

I got a brown kitten with “Gomen (I’m sorry)”.

一緒に入っていた説明書には、「ごめん寝コ」 使い方が書いてありましたが、
こんな使い方、かわいそうでできません。

The instruction described how to use “Gomen neko” but I could not use such way because I feel pity.

釜石からバスに乗り、大槌町の会場「マスト」に向かいました。
今日はとてもよい天気で、きらきらと真っ青な海が光っていました。

I took a bus to move from Kamaishi to MAST in Otsuchi Town.
It was a fine day and the surface of a blue ocean was sparkling in the sunshine.

マストに向かう途中、被災した場所を通っていきます。
かさ上げ工事が進んでいました。

On the way to MAST, the bus passed through the disaster affected area.

The raising work of the ground was progressing.

９：５０マスト到着。命展パート3の展示会場「マストホール」です。

I arrived at MAST at 9:50.  It was the site of exhibition Part 3 called MAST Hall.

10時より搬入開始しました。

Installation started at 10:00.

今回も、宮古・大槌・釜石から、たくさんの方が、お手伝いにきてくださいました。
お手伝いしてくださった多くの方は、命展パート1・２で絵をご依頼された、
飼い主さんたちです。
こうして、ずっとつながっていることが、とてもうれしいです。

Many persons came to help me from Miyako, Otsuchi and Kamaishi as usual.

Most of them were pet owners who asked us to draw paintings at the exhibition Part 1 & 2.

I am very happy to keep relations for a long time.

いつも展示のお手伝いをしてくださっている皆さんですから、 スムーズに
作業も進みました。

They have always helped me for the exhibition, so that installation was done smoothly.

搬入のお手伝いしてくださった、みなさんです。
いつきても、必ずこうして集まっていただけること、本当に感謝しています。
そしてみなさんの元気な顔が見れて、嬉しかったです。

And I was very happy to see their healthy faces.

夜は、みんなでお食事会。
久しぶりにお会いし、会話が止まりませんでした。
明日27日～29日まで、どうぞよろしくお願いします！

We had a dinner with them.

We met each other after all this time and we could not stop talking.

The exhibition will be held from 27th to 29th.  Please come and see paintings!
