I’m in Kyoto

今、京都に来ています。

I’m in Kyoto now.

 

明日23日、午前中に、京都文教 短期大学付属小学校でお話をします。
1時間目と2時間目の授業として2年生に、3時間目と4時間目の授業として6年生に、
命展を通して、人も動物もみんな同じ大切な命ということを伝えます。
今回、この小学校と繋いで下さったのは、NHK京都放送局キャスターの
小野田真由美さんです。
小野田さんは、パート１から命展を応援してくださっていて、先日の宮古や石巻にも
取材に来てくださいました。
明日も取材に来てくださり、命展の取り組みを、京都のニュースで伝えてくださいます。

I will make a speech at Kyoto Bunkyo Junior College Elementary School in the morning of 23rd.  I will tell that both human being and animals equally have precious lives for the second grade in the first and second periods and for the sixth grade in the third and fourth periods.

Ms. Mayumi Onoda, newscaster of NHK Kyoto Branch connected me to the school.

She has been supported the exhibition since Part 1 and she visited Miyako and Ishinomaki to report.

She will join me tomorrow and will report the activity of the exhibition, too.

今日は夕方5時から、小学校に行き明日の打ち合わせがありました。
三条駅から川沿いをあるきました。

Today, the meeting for tomorrow was held at 5PM at the school.

I walked along the river from Sanjo Station.

校門に着きました。
小野田さんと合流しました。
小学校、中学校、高校が敷地内にあります。

I arrive the school gate.

I met Ms. Onoda there.

There were elementary, junior and high school in one area.

校庭を通り・・

I passed the school ground.

ここからが、小学校です。
とてもきれいな、小学校です。

Here was the elementary school.

It was a beautiful school.

教頭先生とお会いしました。
とても明るくやさしそうな方でした。
少人数の小学校だそうで、2年生は全部で40人、6年生は39人だそうです。

I met an assistant principal.

He was very vivid and gentle person.

The school has a small number of students; 40 students in the second grade and 39 students in the sixth grade.



打ち合わせ後、小野田さんと、京野菜の美味しいお店でご飯を食べました。
野菜がいっぱいで嬉しかったです。

After the meeting, I had a dinner with Ms. Onoda at the restaurant where vegetables of Kyoto was delicious.

I was happy to have many kinds of vegetables.
